That was one of the things I was doing the day my grandson knocked the XJ off of the floor jack when I was under it putting jack stands under the rear of it from one side.


One of those things broken R. hip, thigh, leg below knee, 3 broken ribs and a few other little things. Takes a little longer to heal up when you get older and had other sit backs during all this.

Yeah several months ago, as they say "$hit Happens" then you die.

 

That must suck , all them toys and your not able to play.

 

Yes you don't know how bad, been beat-up and so called disabled since 1979 when a car ran over me while standing beside one of my tow trucks and then dragged me 170' under it a VW. They told me I would never work again but I did and walked out of the hospital after a couple of months. But I did just worked with pain all the time.


But this wheelchair BS is killing me and not walking so far. I bought a used Power chair last week and it should at least let me get through the gravel driveway to my race car shop building and do at least a few things on the XJ from the chair, I hope. Then pray for no more setbacks.

i have 01 xj 15x8 rims 3.75 bs will 33 11.5 tires rub anywhere on the inside? i’m not worried about the flares

 

Maybe you can order spacers with your McDonalds drive through order.

 

32x11.5r15 on 15x8 rims. 3.75" backspacing should give you about 1.5 inches out from the fender. You could possibly get a 12.5 inch wide tire on there at this backspacing. Personally I love the stance of my setup and wouldn't change it.
