What mods should I do?
I drove my cherokee home and I'm prob close to 600 doll hairs into it with general effort to not leave it a fluid leaking, creaking, faded paint pos. on the up side it's a damn nice jeep now!

The $600 is a tentative budget for a graduation gift from the rents.
Tow points will be on the list for sure.
That leaves roughly $500.
I'm running on a TC drop right now, so maybe a SYE and TC Skid?
I am already running 3" springs and good shocks so I don't need any suspension parts. This is going to be a DD for a while and I wont be able to wheel it until late August. I want to improve the DD efficiency most of all. That is why I suggested something with the exhaust and a CAI.
What do you think?

I think you should take the money that you're trying to spend on an exhaust and CAI and put it into your gas tank because the difference will be so minimal

I don't want this to turn into a CAI thread, but I may just not know enough about them. I'll do some more research there...

Lockers get you in awesome places you could never go with a winch.
Who really needs a winch?? That's what tow points and buddys are for.
oh man i just opened up a can of worms...

My assumption has been that an intake would improve longevity of the engine. but we all know what happens when one ***-u-me-s. If this is not the case, Should i go with something like an SYE? (I know that is way off from the engine, but I'm currently running a tcase drop and was planning on upgrading to an SYE at some point).
the worst part about working on an XJ on a budget.... Priorities change ALL THE TIME

locked/locked here. no winch or fancy bumpers here. very happy with where I spent my money. I really should have tow points but have yet to get stuck enough to need them. I'll take lockers any day
