ive been peicing together a 4.5 lift so far ive got 3" coils and leaf pack and 1.5 spacer and 1.5 shackles, longer rc lower control arms, lift shocks and extended brake lines. i plan to just drill the hole for the trac bar untill i find a good deal on an adjustable one. so what else will i need? like transfer case drop or degree shims?

 

A tcase drop at least. Possibly even an SYE, DS, and shims. But other then that, everything else sounds pretty good.

 

why is this questions asked every day?

 

OP, a good quality adjustable track bar can be had for under 200$
iro, Ironman4x4fab, RE, RK etc.

Because they do not read the "All lift questions go here" thread or SEARCH.

 

sorry to offend you guys i did search but its hard to search a specific lift height. ill just slap it together and see what it does.

 

i got my adj rc track bar for $55 new on ebay.

 

def! X2 on the track bar. call RC and mention the forum and get a 10% discount which is pretty cool. as for the rear drive line it depends what transfer case you have. i have the NP242 so not allot of options. i went and did the hack n tap route.

 

Where ?? send link please!!! Idk if this is dumb or not but will a 4-6' adj track bar fit on a 3in lift? they seem to make more sense buying since i will be moving up in future

 

it was on ebay when I built mine, might have to search around for awhile. It IS NOT one of the hem joint ones, just an adj bar with the tie rod end on it.

works good though.

$25 t case drop will fix vibes, i have the np242 as well.

you didnt mention you had leafs?

 

ya i got lift leaf packs plus shackels.
