Default Water proofing the Jeep

I bought my Jeep with the intentions of boggin, riding trail, and going where the hell I please... but I want it to last as long as possible. I want to make it as water resistant as possible. So what else do I need to do?

Snorkel
Extended diff vents
and...?

Trans and t-case breather hoses extended. Seal the distributor cap (if yours has one) and run a vent hose higher. Ditch the drums if you're in mud a lot. They will pack up and rust out/become ineffective. Axle tube seals if you want to keep mud out of the tubes. Move alternator up higher, try to seal it off (depends on the design) (custom bracket) where the AC sits. Get a starter shield (wrap it up). Seal up any electronics, ditch the carpet and line the floors. Invest in dielectric grease for the spark plug wires and signal/tail light bulbs (they go out all the time if they get wet). Might need to move the fuse panel on the passenger side floor board up too and seal off the relays and fuses under the hood. If you wheel with doors, get new door seals it and coat them with silicon grease. Really helps if you get in over your head (buys you a little more time). Just a few ideas.

RCI, Jaz, and Summit makes some cheap plastic seats you can use too. The foam in the stock seats will fall apart if they get wet regularly.

They make adjustable polyethene seats too but they are more expensive. The foam in the stock seats will still stink and fall apart if you get them muddy and wet. These plastic seats will last forever.

Just get longer breather hoses. Rubber trans hose or silicon vacuum hose works well.
