It just depends on how you want it to handle.
I run my 44 on 5"s of lift at 6*.
I have my Dad's D30 on 6" lift set at 8*.
Both of those have long arms though.
6 inches of lift on short arms is just horrible, IMO.

And with those do I need lca drop brackets? Also my uppers are stock does this effect this?

If your not doing long arms and OTK steering and you dont want to spend a ton of money here i would seriously lower the darn jeep. Sounds like you've already done alot to it and you've got alot into it. I mean if it were me i would Seriously go make a bastard pack and find some used 3" coils off Craigslist for cheap and roll with that. You could trade the 33s for 31s plus cash with someone im sure. Jeeps are fun but what good is it if your at the "big bad" look you want but its not done correctly and your miserable driving it? And you could sell your 6" springs and use the coin towards getting a nice set of bilstiens and a better track bar.

BUT, by the time you bought drop brackets and 4 control arms you could have bought long arms. So... it's your call.
Lower it down a few inches or break open the wallet.

1.) Deal with your current setup that is garbage
2.) Adjustable arms and drop brackets
3.) Complete long arm kit
4.) Or my budget economy drop suggestion.
Understand that at your height of 6" you need to upgrade to a better steering setup. That factory y setup is not meant to handle such steep angles let alone those heavy tires. Short arm or long arm you need to do something about steering.

well you could always take the time to search over the knuckle steering.Basically what you want a is a straight large beefy tie rod that runs knuckle to knuckle. Then for the drag link it will be connected from the passenger side knuckle to the pitman arm. The reason its called "OVER" the knuckle is because the tie rod has been flipped on top of the steering knuckles for high clearance. The factory "Y" design has the tie rod connected at the drag link so as your suspension cycles its constantly scissoring. not to mention the extremely steep angle of the tie rod end at your pitman arm. in order to get the OTK conversion you will have to ream out your knuckles and relocate the sway bar mounts. I would look at the teraflex kit, JCR, or talk to a local fab shop to make a conversion.
