Default Upper control arm

Any of you guys ever have a problem with smashing the upper arms into the pan/block and taking out your tranny lines? This keeps happening to me. Just wondering. I just blew $100 bucks on lines and now it's happened again.

Adjust you trackbar so the axle sits center...only thing I can think of...that's a unique problem....

Haha. Multiple threads on the same question ay? The one thing that keeps coming to mind is bump stops. Can you post a pic of them and the control arms? Might help. Over compression of your suspension seems like it would result in this issue. So why is it over impressing? Can you drive up on a RTI type hill and really flex one wheel and maybe see what's allowing such flex?

how shold i go about measuring to see if i am of center?
ive heard of this happening before on my coworkers 89 xj, but his was a manual tranny and he just built a bracket to combat the smash. but i dont really beat my jeep all that hard, i do a little prerunning and whatnot, only time ive bottomed out the front was off quite a drop off.

i already have extended bumps. this seems like such a major design flaw. as far as i know everything is in alignment but this has happened twice now, and i have no idea how long mine were smmashed for the last time this happened. ill take some pics in the morning and post them up. and yes, multiple about somewhat the same question hahah.

I eyeball it, so it's at least close, other wise, find the center point on you bumper, then measure from each C from the the center point on your bumper to make sure they are the same length, prerunning may seem easier that rock gardens on your jeep, but it's actually just as bad, if not worse...
