Upgrading A 3inch AAL Setup?
I have a 3' RC AAL suspension setup on a stock 2000 XJ on 31's. After a year or so, a local shop fixed some front end issues, added a stronger lower control arms, and new bumpstops etc.
What options do I have in terms of adding 1' or 2' more lift? I want to stay as cheap as possible, without using blocks.
Would it be possible to do a bastard pack on top of this setup, or would it only lift the rear and if so what options for the front like blocks???
What would you do? For the least amount of money? OR should I just get better tires than my balding unreliable crappy Goodyear SRA all terrains?

I would start with the B-pack, looks like you need to add a couple inches to the rear just to match the front lift, lots of sagging. and maybe add a shackle. be ready to do a TC Drop until you can afford a SYE and DS for the rear. Depending what shock you have now will determine if you will need longer shocks. What kind of Control arms did they put in, pics? Probably need longer brakelines also, YJ line will work <$20 each. If the front is lifted with spring you could add a spacer to lift it.

i guess drop brackets are an option, if not already installed. bastard packs are iffy... how much do you care about the ride quality. are getting full leaf packs out of the question?

Get ur springs rearched and tell them the amount of lift ur lookn for and it will be just as good as or not better than a new leaf pack

Bastard packs are sometimes worth a try, but sooner or later those leaf springs will need to get replaced. Take a good look at your leaf packs and if they're getting flat or arching the opposite direction (like an 'n' and not a 'u'), it will only help so much for so long.
