Default Upgraded Reverse Lights

For any of you thinking of upgrading your reverse lights, here is my side by side comparison. I just installed some 7W LED Projector Bulbs into my 94 XJ. Purchased them on eBay for $7.40 each, free shipping. Heres a link to the ones I got: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261194765916...84.m1497.l2649 No other modifications have been done to the reverse lights yet, just swapped out the bulbs.

Will be adding a relay and two additional reverse lights in a couple weeks once all the parts get here. Anyways, heres the first step:

Thanks, I agree about these lights! I was a little skeptical at first, was thinking really 7w LED, how great could it be right. And seeing how bad my stock lights were I figured what did I have to lose...if anything gave me something to complain about on here haha. But very happy with them. Cant wait to get the rest of the reverse light mods completed. Having to back up a pitch black driveway each night sucks. These will help a lot!

You were the mule and the outcome was great. I'm going to do this mod because of you. Thanks

What kind of base on those bulbs? The old standard round or a flat one?

Take pics at night. Curious if the extra 8 dollars makes a difference in quality than the other ones on ebay

What kind of longevity can you expect from LEDs like this? I have read some reports where people's dash lights burn out in a year? I'd rather dim bulbs I never think about than doing it every year.

Thanks!
