Default Universal Tuff Country Lift?

Alright guys so I got a new one for you. I have a guy offering to sell me a Tuff Country EZ-Ride Suspension Lift Kit 3.5". He is claiming it is a "universal" kit and can fit all vehicles...but may require some additional modifying. He originally bought it for a 2004 Dodge Dakota. So essentially I want to know if he is REALLY trying to pull my leg cause I kind of think he is full of it. Thanks

Quick Google search turned this up...

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...497024972.html

..but I don't see how a suspension lift kit could possibly be universal.

Never heard of such a thing, and even if it was true, I think I'd pass and still buy something vehicle specific.

Well a dodge dakota has IFS and cherokees have a solid front axle. So right there that tells me that his lift will not work on your cherokee. Dont waste your money.

Haha. Im just glad you asked before you bought it. Look at rough country. They make good starter lifts at a good price.

Only thing universal that would lift anything is a block of wood.
