So the 4.5 shocks wont work with 6.5 of lift? i do have extended steel braided lines but im not sure if they are the same as the 6.5 kit. i do know that at full flex they are not close to being tight. a rough ride i can deal with cause its pretty stiff right now and i no im driving a jeep and dont expect it to ride like a caddy or anything. i would love to upgrade to long arms but the money just isnt available right now.

Im making my own long arms right now, I can send you some pics of how they come out if you would like. I have a 6.5 " short arm kit and the ride isn't that bad. I just want the flexibility of the long arms.

yes i would love to build my own long arm kit that would be fantastic. i called rough country and they told me that the 4.5 x series shocks are good up to a 6.5 lift and brake lines are good to 8 in lift.

You'll over extend them which means your prone to bubbles, hyperextension and eventually blowing them. Rear relocation brackets could do it but you'll still need front shocks.
