I didnt say they do not like load.
I said making the tires harder to spin won't make the turbo more effecient or the vehicle faster.
Just think about that.
If that were the case a forced induction motor would dyno with less crank HP than wheel HP.

you pressing brakes = making wheels harder to spin = building more boost = more power/torque
or
putting bigger wheels + steeper gear (stock gear or lower) = more power/torque/boost
and about the dynos not neseccarily because on the dyno theirs still load and once the turbo start to work youl still see a peak in #s you ever see supras dyno #s??? ive seen a 300whp supra run the same time as a 800whp supra with the same suspension setup....... just because your rowing through gears faster doesnt mean ur actually going faster...... theirs so much and ill end it here go read enjoy

Motors are just air movement machines. The quicker and more effeciently you can move the air the more power you will make.
Making it harder isnt going to help your cause.
I wonder why folks try to lighten their car, then, to go faster. I mean, weight equals load, more weight, more load...
But they don't weigh their vehicles down. The goal is to be lighter...?

At least for me crawling I never use more than 1/10th throttle. A lawn mower engine would work fine. It's the freeway where the turbo would help. Mudding is a different story.

Dude, it may make the turbo spool more quickly, but it is not going to make it quicker. Faster, maybe if you are redlining and still have useable power, but not quicker. Also higher ratio gears will ALWAYS (with everything else identical) put down less net torque at the axles than low ratio (higher numerically.) gears. Also, if everything else stays constant, a properly tuned forced induction motor CAN get better mileage, but this depends solely on the application of your right foot. Please, please, please argue with me, but before you do, find some verified scientific evidence, because I WILL make you look and feel rather inept and ignorant.Originally Posted by crfrider

Motor swaps are legal as long as the engine is from a model year equal to or newer of the vehicle being swapped into and all emissions equipment that was standard on the new engine must be there.
