Default Trying to figure out what size lift






I just picked up this 98 Cherokee. Trying to figure out what size lift I have. I used to have a 3.5 with 31s. So I know it's bigger then that. I'm saying 5 maybe 6 inch. I seeing what your guys inputs are

rear axle: measure from the axle tube to the frame rail next to the bumpstop. 6" is factory
front axle: measure from axle tube to the frame rail next to the coil. 6.75 is Factory.
subtract these numbers from your numbers for lift height.

Looks like a 4.5 to me. The small tires make it looker bigger than it is lol.

The tires on it now are 31s.

That shackle angle of 90º is bad news.

Why is 90 bad news it might be pic but I'm pretty sure it's at slight angle.

Ideal is 45º so it doesn't ride like a dump truck.

Ok thanks I just picked it up this weekend. Just started going thru the safety to see what it needs to pass inspection. Then after all that fixing what previous owners did but for $1200 with a decent lift and minimual rust. Very good base to start from to save money
