Trimming front wheel-well for 33s on 92 XJ
Just recently got a 92 XJ, lifted about 2 inches (block on rear), coil spacer on front. It has new BF Goodrich 33s on it. Whenever i turn the front wheels as far as they go, the tire rubs this metal seam on the inside of the wheel-well and its starting to tear up the new tires. Also it has almost no room to flex with the tires turned. Can this metal "seam" thing be cut away and smoothed with the rest of the wheel-well. Pics are attached..
thanks a bunch!

Like many others on here I've done the cut and fold. You just slice that seam into 1"-ish sections and then bend it over with a hammer. This isn't a great pic but it shows where I rub with my 33"s and you can see that my seam is cut down already. Those are 30"s in the pic btw. When I get back from work I'll go snap a pic of what I did to the seam.

Fitting 33's
Slice and dice and tuck em in tight you might have some fright but youll make it trough the trail alright you might have to stretch out the recover system to get some bite

I don't really have an up close picture of the inside lip, but I did the cut and fold on the fender and used a big hammer to bend the inner lip over rather than cutting it first.
