Transfer Case questions
I have a 1995 Cherokee XJ with an NP 231 with an internal output shaft. I believe the chain has loosed because I have heard slipping and clunking when wheeling and have checked other parts which are all in good condition.
My question is can I use an external output shaft 231 even though my current has an internal output shaft? What problems if any will I run into?
