transfer case help

Is there a difference in the front output shaft splines on the 231 AMC vacuum transfer case to the 231J with the sealed rear output shaft from a 96 Cherokee

You by chance the one who put a sye on an AMC 231? I bought a 87 Comanche with it in it. You in AL? Just know the MJ came from Alabama

I think the splines changed. From 21 to 23
