installing a skyjacker transfer case lowering kit.
installed the spacers and tightened everything back up (mounts & cross member).

moving on to the transfer case linkage bracket installation.
removed the two OEM bolts to install the new bracket, but having a heck of time trying to get the rod out of current spot in order to install and lower.

any advice on how to get the rod out? do i need to loosen other parts of the linkage? Looking at it it doesnt seem like its going to come out easy either way.

 

A 3 foot pry bar well be your biggest help. That's how I remove and install my t case linkage
