anyone here ever run like a generic filter head from like lets say pegasuas. and tap into your trans line for added protection?
im asking because i have a B&M supercooler that i am installing this weekend and kinda had in my mind to run a filter as well..
my question is if it worth running the AUX filter setup? will i benifit from it or is it a waste of time and money for me?
TIA guys...

i can purchase a filter head for like 22 bucks at my local tractor supply and use a oil filter. my other question is will a oil filter work in filtering debris in the trans because of the high levels of detergent?

Keep the filter around 25 micron, and make sure the head has a lower bypass pressure, like 10PSID, a small micron rating, like 5 or 10 will keep the fluid cleaner, but will be harder to push the fluid through.
