Default Trailmaster suspension install help

I am installing a Trailmaster 3" kit with with rear springs. The final thing I have to do is install the rear shocks. When I went to install them I got the top bolted in on both sides but when I went to install the bottom I found out that the shocks are too short. Even with the weight of the vehicle on the springs they are too short. The part number in the on the box is TM73225010 which is what is listed in the instructions is it possible they put the wrong shocks in the boxes? Has anyone else ran into this problem with Trailmaster?

Short enough to where they won't go on even with the weight of the vehicle on the springs.

Obviously. But inches wise? And you still have the stock flares on?

It has the stock fender flares if that's what you mean.

Yes that's what I mean. Measure from the center of your wheels to the bottom of the fender flares. Front wheels and back. This will tell me how much lift you have and we'll go from there.

I measured the shocks and they are 22.5" extended.

OK. But measure what I told you in an above post. That will tell us the true amount of lift you have right now and we can see if those shocks are wrong

I got a chance to do some measuring today and in the rear from the center of the hub to the fender flare is 23.5 inches and on the front it is 21.5 inches. I forgot to measure the front before so I am not sure how much I gained in the front.

You have 4 inches up front...6 out back!! You measured to the very bottom of the flare?

yes from the center of the hub up to the bottom of the flare. That sounds like too much mine is the country edition with the up country suspension package, but I don't think that makes a difference since I replaced the front and rear springs.

Yeah man because stock is 17.5 inches in the front and 17 in the rear. Does it look like a lot of lift? Post pics. There is no way those shocks would work with that much lift

I am guessing with that much lift I will need a transfer case drop, adjustable track bar or track bar Drop bracket, and a swaybar drop kit.
