I'm in the market for a track bar. I've searched here and on Google. Most of the info was fairly old. I'm about too install a zone 3 inch lift. 90% of my
Driving will be on the street. Theres a lot of options out there. I'm not looking for nothing extreme just a good quality part. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I just installed the zone 3" lift in September and went with the JKS adjustable track bar. Make sure if you go with JKS that you get the 0-4" lift track bar an not the longer one lol (like I did). It should do just fine for now. You might want to look into a double shear mount track bar as this will provide better strenght on the body mount side (JKS does not make a double sheer mount tb).
I can't give a great suggestion on what TO get, but I can tell you what NOT to get. If I had to do it over again, I would not buy any of the Rough Country track bars. I will be upgrading from my current one soon.
I have the Zone 4.5 lift (5.5 actual) and i could NOT remove the stock trac bar from the frame mount. The nut was horribly jammed. I drilled and cut and everything and it never came out. Anyway, long story long, i got the RE1665 hd track bar and 1660 mount (i think thats the number).
