So I was working under my jeep tonight and noticed a major crack in my trac bar bracket. Occasionally I get a light shimmy in the steering and my axle is pushed slightly to the passenger side. Would this be the cause and am I just playing with death wobble waiting for it to start.

 

These brackets seem to crack often, They take quite a load, even on road. When mine cracked, I would get a loud popping as I worked the steering wheel from side to side. You could feel everything shift in the front end. I don't think it would contribute to death wobble, but I could be wrong.

 

That is at least one of your problems.

 

Well damn. Now to see if I can get Clayton to make me a one off kit with a shorter trackbar.
