Default Track bar bracket

About a month ago, I noticed that my track bar had a ton of play, so I pulled it off and found the hole to be perfect for a 7/16ths bolt. Well, the hole has started to wallow out more. As far as I can tell, my options are to have a piece of 1/4 thick stock welded to the face with a 7/16ths hole, or Artec sells a relocation bracket that gets welded on closer to the pig.

Has anyone done something similar or have any better ideas?

What track bar do you have? If it's still stock, u can upgrade to a better track bar. Some of them require you to drill the hole bigger.

I have the Rusty's adjustable. I haven't upgraded to the double sheer yet though.

Still applies. If you're not looking to upgrade then just weld on a washer of the same size. Most good aftermarket track bars require a 1/2" bolt on the axle.

Much appreciated guys. I figured that was going to be the best recommended route to go, but you never know. Now to find time around work to have a buddy do some welding for me.
