Exclamation Track bar bracket bolts

I am having a lot of trouble with my track bar bracket bolts

I am replacing my stock track bar with a double sheer track bar.

the axle side bolt broke. figures. so I cut that out with a saw zaw as well.

my problem is actually at the bracket side.

pictures below

axle side I broke and just cut loose.

my problem is the two bolts that hold the bracket up. the first or right bolt in this picture came out fine. but the second bolt or left bolt in the picture broke. and I cant get a saw zaw in there to cut the nut or bolt loose. any suggestions? help? any one?

The head of the bolt broke off, or the welded "nut" broke? I'll never know why they put a circular weld nut on that side.

If the head broke off, I would try and get an air hammer in there to break the welded "nut" loose.

If the welded "nut" broke free, that's tough. Maybe a dremel and some patients and you can cut it out.

Yes sir. Then you can replace with new grade 8 hardware. Can't promise that it's gonna be easy though. You could try a bolt extractor, but I've never had great luck with them. Have a picture of what it looks like now that the bolt broke?

BTW, if your not using penetrating oil, start. I always try and spray some on any nuts and bolts once or twice a day for a couple days before I try and tackle a project. Doesn't guarantee I won't break something, but it definitely helps.

You can't drill it out? Might take a bit, but in my experience it always works.

I had the same thing happen. I was able to somehow get in there with a small ish cut off wheel. Good luck!

Default ITS OUT!!

I got the bolt out!

I heated up the bolt enough where I could spin the rest of the remaining bolt back up and I used a big pry bar and boom! sucker popped right off.

the front bolt did come out clean so I screwed that back into the nut and heated that up as well. used the faithful pry bar and BOOM!

than I just went a bought new GRADE 8 7/16-2 long bolts, nut and washers.

thank you all for the help!!

this was the problem child

both bolts and nuts are out

new GRADE 8 7/16-2inch long
