Double-shear track bar for 3" lift?
I've been searching for a while and just not getting the answers I need. I'm installing a Zone 3" lift on my XJ soon, and want to get a good double-shear track bar. I've seen where some people with 3" and the IRO track bar have had clearance issues with the diff cover. Anyone run into this? I'd prefer to get this one due to the price point, but I'm also looking at Clayton and Rock Krawler. Anyone run any of these on a 3" lift?
Thanks everyone

I was told by IRO the clearance issues have been fixed. I have only been able to find old posts about it but I'm still leery because of the drop bracket. I plan on picking one up. I hope it doesn't hit my dif cover! I don't have an aftermarket cover, FYI.

Good to know. You at 3"? I don't have an aftermarket cover YET, but I plan on getting one soon for the front and want to make sure it'll work down the road

If you have the money for it, go KOR. Seems like it is the best all around. The bar is bent significantly better for clearance, but it's also ~twice the price compared to the IRO.

Interesting about the KOR--it seems pretty nice, but uses a modified factory bracket to mount. Not sure I'm wild about that idea, especially for the price.

Right now its 325. You get 16 bucks in store credit and either 35 cash back or 45 in store credit for the stock TB mount. So if there is anything else from him you want (I would suggest the 72 duro bushings) and do all store credit you can get it for 264 buck. Still pricey but also he will give you 35 in store credit for any additional good condition stock TB mounts.
Oh and yeah I can get a pic tomorrow PE.

I though that too but I could not find one post about a broken stock TB mount. Found some of IRO TB mounts though. IIRC he was the first to sell a double shear TB and has for a long time. If they were junk for that price they would not still be around.

Yeah if I was doing a higher lift or a trail only rig or something I'd probably do the IRO but if I'm going to replace it, I'd rather do it once and never think about it or worry about hitting my stuff. I will probably save for the KOR. In the end, it's only $100. I spend that in a weekend if I'm not paying attention!
