The front will bolt right in. The rear you will have to remove all the brackets (coil spring, control arm and shock mounts) and weld on leaf spring perches and shock mounts, as well as some kind of brake hard line to run end to end. It will be quite a bit of work to make that axle fit, but it would certainly be an upgrade over a d35.

Right I have 97 Cherokee so I has the 8.25 rear and the high pinion D30 front I just thought sense the axles were already buit it would be easier then trying to build mine my front axle on the driverside looks like I ripped a seal because every morning there's a new puddle or greas on the inside of the tire and if it would just be easier to swap axles then rebuild mine specially sense these already have the gears and lockers and the rear is trussed then I may just go that route

For sale are my axles from a 97 jeep wrangler tj. Dana 30 front and Dana 44 rear. They have 4.56 gears front and rear with a detroit tru trac rear and loc right lunchbox locker in front. Rear axle still has drums and front has disc brakes. Rear axle is also setup up for Rock Krawler long arm 4 link, so it has the rear truss. Also has the extended shock mounts so at full flex won't break shocks. The front axle has newer spicer ball joints and precision wheel bearings. Also knuckles are drilled to 5/8" and setup for rock krawler steering which is solid 1.25" drag link and 1.5" solid tie rod with heims already

Unless you plan on linking the rear you'd have to cut off the truss and then weld on perches and shock mounts. Also that D30 is low pinion. Just an FYI just because you have a 97 doesn't mean you have an 8.25, mine had a D35.
