Default Tire balancing

Hi Guys, I've asked a couple of you hear about this so I apologize if you're seeing this again.

Long story short, current wheels (31 BFG's) have been a ***** to keep balanced and have worn like **** creating a shimmy from 45 to 55 mph. I'm gonna get new Duratracs (31's for now) and I don't want to have this issue again. What do you guys recommend for balancing these? Beads, Airsoft, Road Force Balancing? I don't want to go through this again and have to drop coin on another set of tires in a year.

Lot's of people seem to be happy with beads or airsoft, but seem like more of a bigger tire deal in my research (33's and up). Plus I don't have the means to break a bead, drop the beads in, and reseat the tire myself.

Problem I find with the Road Force Balancing is actually finding a tech that does it right.

Any help is appreciated!

A good road force balancing has always worked for me. I wouldn't recommend beads unless you run 35s+.

Since ur is 31s I not sure if u can put beads in? Ask tire shop and see if they have any and ask if is possible to put in 31? I have 35s and have beads in it they work great GREAT!! 2 out of 4 rims are kinda out of round and it ride really smooth than the weight balances....

I had my 31 Duratracs balanced on steel wheels with regular stick on weights and never had any problems.

Yeah, maybe I'm just over thinking it too much (usually do). I just don't want to deal with it again. The last shop I went to put beads in my current wheels/tires, but I think they're worn too funny for it to do anything.

Where have you guys gone? I have plenty of Belle or Discount Tires around here, and if I buy from them I get free balancing for the life of the tire. But that's where I went for my BFG's and I've come to the conclusion that all their techs are ****. Or at least the shop rat that has to balance all the tires.

T/A KO's. Yes, everyone seems to love them, but honestly, I haven't been all that impressed.
