I cleaned the TB today, and was sizing it up considering the possibilities of milling it out.
It sure looks to me like I'd end up with a huge bypass outlet if I milled the TB out straight thru, there just doesn't appear to be enough metal there covering the by-pass.

This hasn't been an issue for anybody?

I think I'd rather hear from somebody who did it or bought one rather then somebody selling them.

I guess that would be me then. I've purchased and installed 3 of them from www.strokedjeep.com.

Ive bored 146 of them so far to 60mm straight thru.....and there are no issues with wall thickness on an HO throttle body. The area where the IAC sits for air flow at idle does not change. Aftermarket companies take stock ones up to 62 or so.

I would be happy to send you a condensed version of the comments from a lot of my customers.
Send me an email address if interested.

No, because Im only going to 60mm below the plate, removing the restriction, thereby allowing use of the stock plate.
