What's the benefit? I have a 90, lifted on 33s. An improvement in steering would be nice when parts wear out.

If you get one from a V8 it has a tiny, tiny cooler on it & holds more fluid. I got one from a I6 & it works fine. Better than my old, worn out pump.

My XJ is on the bus ATM. I'll take it off tomorrow & get a pic if no rain.

 

Thats idea easier turning for bigger tires.

 

Yes Im using the 4.7 version. Which year pressure hose did you use ?

 

Been looking at the differences between 1989 XJ pressure hoses and 1999 XJ hoses the top bends are different. The 1999 XJ reservoir is a lot closer in design to the 2002 Grand Cherokee and fits without and modification to upper bend also bought 1 foot of 7/16 fuel line and a 1/2 bolt to plug bigger return line on reservoir on WJ pump. All parts are here so Saturday am its going on.

 

I think I bent my stock one & it worked. Pretty sure I didn't buy one.

 

That what I planned but 20 bucks was well worth It.
