Taking the doors off a 2000 2 door
So I've seen threads and videos about how to take the doors off an older 4-door with power everything, but what about a 2000 2-door XJ with manual windows and locks, front speakers that are blown out anyway, and power mirrors? And what do I do about the fact that I won't have mirrors?

The doors are awkward & heavy. In my state of GA all that's required is a rear view mirror. You can use male & female wire connectors for the mirrors & speakers.
Easiest way to modify the hinges is to scrib a line around where the hinges bolt to door, remove door, modify the hinges & remount them on the scrib line from earlier.
Not sure of the exact procedure on a 00, I have 97 hinges.
