Default t-case problems

went wheeling a couple of days ago and for some reason when i put it in to 4hi it would stay in but when i got on it, the tcase would pop out of gear and put me in neutral. 4lo and 2 work fine
any suggestionss

Sounds like you may have a broken or worn motor or tranny mount if it pops out of gear only when you get on it hard.

Sounds like its not fully engaging. Check the linkage maybe.

do u have a t-case drop cuz that may be ur problem cuz i experienced the same thing and it was the t-case drop that caused it

You should be fine with a 1" drop, esp if you were fine til you went wheeling.

yeah everything was fine, i went wheeling like three times and it all worked out. then a couple of days ago it wouldnt stay in 4hi

well i had a 1in t-case drop also and worked for a long time then the linkage bushings started to go bad because of the bad angles the drop caused i removed it one day and all my problems with the t-case shifting and staying in gear went away

So just removing the drop fixed the issue? Not replacing the bushings?

i replaced the bushings and the took the drop out or if he really need the drop he could relocate the linkage pivot point on the underbody
