So last weekend when i switched out my rear dana 35 to the dana 44 i also decided to finally put in the t-case drop because i never got to it....
i had installed a 4.5in RC short arm kit but never got to install the T-case drop so i finally got to it and now im having trouble's getting in and out of 4x4
we lifted it on the hoist and tried it and noticed the bottom part of the lever is out of place, i took some pics but not sure if you guys are going to be able to tell, but is it supposed to be like this?!
what i did for now is drilled another hole to keep it in place so it can get in and out of 4x4 but i dont think this is how its supposed to be, but i also need to add a E clam to keep it in place
but if anyone can please help that will be greatly appreciated
and yes my photo editing sucks haha
also my jeep is a 1991 2 door 5 speed
not sure which T- case i have, and also if i take out the t-case is that a bad idea?

were you getting drive line vibes?
what caused the instal for the t-case drop in the first place?
and your new hole should be fine.

nope no drive line issues what so ever, and i did the t-case drop because it came with the RC lift and one of my friends said it would of been a good idea to install it since it came with it and when i did the t case drop the tranny went down also which made the hole go down to

if you didnt get vibe uninstal it....
you are losing ground clearance and it puts more wear on your motor mounts...
the only thing it is used for is to cure drive line vibes

uh your friend doesnt know what he is talking about....
the T-case will be fine.
the slip yoke u-joints on the rear driveshaft will get to an angle that is to much and cause it to shake or vibrate.
the drop is used to make that angle less if you do get vibes.
you tcase will be un affected....
