Default T Case Drop

Was installing my transfer case drop kit and two of my stock bolts were from the bottom and two were from inside the unibody. I pulled the two from the bottom right out, but the other bolts were just nuts. I have a picture for reference. Anyone else deal with this? How'd you get the bolt out??

I did search, couldn't find a reference or video. Do you have one?

PB Blaster, vise grips, possibly a small pipe wrench, stud remover, two nuts snugged to each other.

2 nuts snugged together worked for me.

Yep, double nut it and they should come out. Use a lot of PB blaster as well and CAREFULLY take them out.

From what I can tell, once I double but it, I just twist the top one to the left and it should come out like a normal screw??

Yes. The top nut is tight against the bottom nut so it acts like a head to the bolt.

Soak them with some kind of penetration oil. Heat and double nut them and hopefully they will just unscrew.

Double nutting alone was not enough in my case and I've broken enough of the smaller bolts on my XJ that I added some heat from a propane torch and mine finally came right out. BTW, this was on a rust free California XJ, I feel sorry for those that work on Jeeps in the rust belt...
