Unbolt crossmember. Put out studs. Put in pucks. Bolt crossmember back on.

Slighlty loosen the motor mounts, and support the transmission with a jack. Remove the bolt and nut on each side holding the crossmember to the unibody. (Spray with penetrating oil ahead of time, bolt is prone to snapping) lower the jack enough to slip the blocks in and reassemble using the hardware. Don't forget to tighten the motor mounts. ( I had an issue when I lowered the assembly my fuel line cracked where it runs through a clip along side the engine) so maybe unbolt the fastener before you drop it

All you have to do is support the cross member with a floor jack, take the old hardware out of the x-member, lower it enough to fit the drop in, install new hardware. Done.

Floor Jack, and a breaker bar and you should be fine.

What is the best way to get the bolt out if you snap it?

Heat it up glowing red. Use a reverse cut drill bit and drill it out. Or drill it out completely and retap it.

I made my own out of 1x2" box tube, pulled studs went to orielly bought new bolts put it together. Took longer for the paint to dry than cutting and drilling and installing the damn drops.

To get rid of driveline vibrations? I havent done the lift yet. But I ordered it just in case. Its inevitable that ill get them being a 99 with 242. 3" lift with new leaf packs will cause vibs.

242 transfer case dudeee ... Very little. Non existent support. I can't go on rustys or eBay or rough country or express or any website and just order one. They are ususally custom made per Order and expensive.
