Iron rock has one but its as simple as

The RE cut and tap unit fits the 242 just fine. For a '99 you would need p/n RE1807.

Who did you talk to? It would have been me (Eric), Sean or Tracy? What number did you call?

The website says 1807 is for 231. 1801 is for 231/242 up to 1996. :what:

Our website is wrong then unfortunately. The RE1807 does fit the 96 and up 242 t case. At least it has for the last 14 years that I have been selling them.

Not sure if I'm going to get in trouble for this as I personally am not a vendor here but if you call RE tomorrow at nine16-858-857five (our old number, still works) or three10-900-385one (our new number) and ask for Eric (me) I will confirm what I have stated here. If you called the number on the catalog before there is a small chance that it got routed to one of the guys down at 4WP Compton somehow. Not all of them are as familiar with our product as we (Rubicon Express Sacramento) are. I apologies for the misinformation.

Technically 97 models were made in 96. Manufacturing dates are always weird.

Right, PRE96. As in 95 and down. The body changed in 97. The T case output housing changed in 96.

You're good man. It's great to see companies willing to give help/advice with installing their parts.
