I have a RC tansfer drop, no directions, 94 xj, 2 bolts and 2 studs secure the trans crossmember. The kit came with 4 bolts, washers, lockwashers, and nuts. Do i have to open up the frame channel to lose the studs??? any info/pics appreciated!

 

Remove the studs but putting a nut on it, then put another nut on the stud, and tighten it against the first nut. Then turn the first out, and the whole thing will act as a bolt and the stud will back out.

 

Soak those studs with PB blast and heat them up alot prior to removing them i snapped one and it was a B***H yo remove
