So I just purchased my 2000 XJ and I'm going thru it compiling a list of thing that need to be repaired or replaced and I'm wondering if someone can help me out.
The bushings on the sway bar are shot and the top bushing on my sway bar link is also shot but I'm not sure if this is the stock length sway bar link or an after market. The previous owner didn't know what size lift was on it so I measured the top of axle to bottom of "frame" (10 1/2" front and 10" rear) so it looks like a 4" lift. Everything I can find says 4" and above needs a longer sway bar link but it looks like my sway bar is perfectly parallel to the ground. Should I just buy a stock replacement? What is the length of a stock link?
fyi that leak on the pitman arm is from a leaky power stearing pump. it's on the list...
And this is my first lifted vehicle....is this flat leaf pack with a bend on the bottom... "ok"?
