I recently purchased a surco roof rack off of cl. It was a great deal and I am wanting to use gutter mounts. I see that surco has two part #'s for mounts. A 5 1/2" (gm100) or a 8" (gm200). My question is which will fit my cherokee. I keep seeing "look at application guide" but can't find the guide. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im not positive but i think the 8 is for if you have the stock roof rails n 5 is for if you do not what you should do is measure ur gutter rails to where u want it to sit

 

Either one will work... It all depends on how high you want the rack to sit.

It's either going to be 5.5 inches above the drip rail or 8 inches. You pick.

 

Surco also sells an adapter that works with the factory roof rails. (Not the cross bars)
