If it mostly sees pavement but you want a mud tire the Truxus MT is a good choice and they balance well unlike TSLs and Iroks.

You should look into the summit brand tires ...there's the mud dawgs or the maxxis buckshot ...its a pretty aggressive studable snow tire...but it has a nice mud lug to it...you should be able to pick thoes up pretty cheap..I've been running mine for 3 years all year round and they've worn great.little bit of road noise but its a nice hum

i too like the super swampers brand.

i liked my trxus, the wifey has them on her jeep now too. they work great off road and nice for street in any weather.

if you can get the iroks in a 33 inch radial, it would be a tough choice. i have 36 inch bias iroks, and they are similar to the trxus.

both of these tires have siping, which is perfect for on the street and in the rocks.

but unlike the previous post about balancing. i couldn't get my trxus to balance, even with 13 ounces of beads per tire. but my iroks balanced up perfect on my beadlocks with no balancing medium what so ever.

both tires wear great with 2 years wheeling and 4 years of daily driving/wheeling on the trxus and 4 years of wheeling on the iroks. they are now getting low on tread, but should last one more season on each.

I run the TSL's and do ALOT of high way and street driving and chunk them up pretty badly offraod in the rocks. I like them alotbut they are not a wet road friendly tire at times. I barely notice not that I am used to it. but i agree with the TRXUS or the IROK radial.

my TSL's balanced with 3 oz for the smallest and 6 oz for the most

Good year MT/R if driving on road alot ...super swampers don't last many miles I had 33x12.50 ssr radial for my first set of meat in 2001 they had good road manners and did well on wet roads ,but they wear quickly ...all aggressive swampers do the trxus is'nt really that aggressive like most swampers .

I run 34" LTB's on my heep and you will have to hang a bucket off all four corners to catch the tread as it flies off. I have soon to be had IROKS on my Dodge 3500 and they suck to.. Good Year Kevlar going on the Dodge this week..Will see how they work out..

I would go with the Truxus MT, they are a radial and do pretty good on the highway and pretty go on the trails. I have run with a buddy in 3 foot of snow with a set of 35s aired down and they were amazing.
