Default Suggestions on changing up my rear setup.

I have a bastard pack and and autozone shackles . I had a bad 90 degree so I added relocators. But now the stress is too much for the old worn XJ main. My thought was to get smaller shackles and and add more leafs ? That or get an s10 pack instead ? Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks

The shackles is also just goofy looking and I already used to catch it on rocks before.

i think that if your main leaf is finally toast, its time for a whole new pack instead of just addin to the problem. as to weather or not get brand new lifted packs or used worn out s10 packs, its up to you and your wallet. and those shackles just look ridiculous lol

like said before looks like your main leaf is toast. replacing that will help alot and if you make another pack make to sure that when staking the leafs that there is no two the same length it causes more presure on one point through the movement of the leaf and removes the distrabution evenly over the main leaf.

I have 4.5" coils with 1" spacers up front. Should I get these 3.5" packs and run with a small shackle?

If you want those leaf springs, get them here and save some money: http://www.seriousoffroadproducts.co...-SPRING-XJ-3.5.

X2 on your leafs being toasted.. if you're on a budget, check out a local spring shop. We've got one here in Buffalo that'll make up what ever spring height and rateing you want. cheaper than buying them & having them shipped to your house... in saying that, I haven't had them do anything for me (yet), I went with a comlete kit... Keep in mind you'll want to go taller than your front lift, adding spare tire / tools / parts, etc it'll lower your back end.
