Default Strange popping noise help

So today I went wheeling at Uwharrie!! It was a great day besides this persisting popping the whole day..... It was my first time with sway bars off, and also my first time for this jeep at Uwharrie. It was a popping noise that I could feel on the gas pedal, but it sounded like it was more to the passenger side of the vehicle. It seemed like it happened a lot more while in 4wd so I thought u joint, but it happened even when I kept it in 2wd and I looked at u joint it seemed ok. I've looked it over cant find what this would be I really don't like it and know it can't be good..... Any ideas?

those are ball joints-to check them lift the front and grab the tire at 12;00 and 6;00 and check for play and 9;00 and 3;00 for hub bearing play..bushings are on the control arms attached to your axel

to check u-joints in the axels stick a screwdriver or wrench in the u and wiggle to check for play and then grab your control arms with both hands and try to wiggle front and back and side to side (in this pic youcan see the lower control arm and the u-joint)

I acctually just had the jeep alighned. and the guy told me that the ball joints had minor play, but they should last another 6k miles that was 200 miles ago..... Could they be what is popping ? It's weird how it seems to pop more in 4wd, but it pops in 2wd to just less frequently ! And only on trails !!! Never while I'm on road

Still most likely the control arm bushings. I'd also check the track bar and track bar bracket.

It seems all the pics I took did not load on here I guess or post. And I can't get them to for some reason I'll have to retake them when I get home! Also the sound sounds like it's coming from the passenger sidet of the vehicle but I feel it in the gas pedal....
