Ordered a RE adj track bar. Picking it up tomorrow at 4wp. It'll be nice to get that axle centered so I can put on my sway bar links

 

I think I've decided on giving treadwright tires a go. They are currently out of stock on the ones I want so I'll just keep checking

 

Got the RE track bar and sway bar links on. The track bar is a snug fit on a 3" lift. The heim joint is bottomed out but the axle is pretty much centered now.

Any pics of it installed? Did you use the stock bracket or the aftermarket drop bracket?

 

I can take a picture tomorrow. Its on the stock bracket, had to drill the upper mounting hole to 5/8" though for the new hardware.

Thanks for the pic. I'm going to be installing mine with the lift this weekend. Just wanted a good visual in what it should look like installed. Any issues installing the trackbar? Any crazy tools besides a pickle fork?

 

Just basic tools, hammer, drill with 5/8" bit, and a torque wrench. It helps to have a buddy turn the steering wheel to line up the track bar but I was able to do it by my self.

 

So I'm having a hard time getting the axle centered. Did you measure to see if yours was centered or did you just line up the track bar holes?

 

I had the same nose dive going on with my xj. Figured normal driving would take care of it. A year later it was still nosing so I put 1.5 coil spacers and hauled a fully loaded 4 place snowmobile trailer full of quads out to camp. Now we're level haha

 

No my axle is pretty centered now.
