Default sometimes slips out of 2nd after T-case Drop

I searched for a thread on this but couldnt find one.....i just put a 4 inch lift on my 5 speed xj, and since i didnt have the money, i got a T-case drop instead of an SYE (for now) but now, when im in second gear, and kind of in 4th, it isnt in there solid. if i shift to second, and if i am not REALLY intentional, just kind of put it there, it will sometimes slip out if i let off the gas, and it feels kind of the same way in 4th, just not as bad, and i havent had it slip out of 4th yet. its not bad enough to where it constantly does it, and i could deal with it if i cant fix it, but it would be nice if i could get it fixed. i havent got a chance to get under and look at it, cuz of the 20 degree weather, but anyone else had this? or know how to remedy it? i know it probably is a simple adjustment, just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. thanks guys

The shifter isn't hitting anything is it? Possibly against the console keeping it from going all the way into gear.

i dont think it is, there isnt anything i can see, but when i shift into second, it feels like shifting when its really cold (like 10-15 degrees) and feels like the fluid is really thick, but it always is like that, even warm.....its like when i did my t case drop it made it is right at the edge of the linkage, and needs to be adjusted or something.....i still haven't got a chance to look under it yet. it doesnt prevent driving, i just have to hold it in second gear when downshifting or if i let off the gas. its not a big deal, i would just like to get it fixed, and im also curious if anyone else has had this happen

you might have to adjust the shifter, the shifter has adjustments on it, look into it.
