Snorkels cheaper than Arb?
Has anyone found any snorkel brands cheaper than ARB? I'd really like to have one but not for $350, and I haven't seen any good homemade alternatives yet , just PVC pipe.

That looks pretty reasonable. I also saw somebody trying to sell instructions to build one for $6.00 and $50 in parts,

I have been looking into snorkels for a long while for my own use. I have not seen a single homebrewed snorkel I like, and I myself cannot come up with a better one then anyone else. I have had ideas about running it through my driver side front window pillar, but it never went very far. Long story short I am just getting the arb one. Looks so clean and fits perfectly. I have seen the jeeptian sells, but honestly I would rather pay 350 dollars to arb in Australia then 120 to someone in China... Sorry if that sounds hateful but thats just the way I am

I'm sure the $350 dollar one is better but I hate to spend that kind of money on a jeep I have less than $900 in. Its just my wheeling jeep. If it was for my Powerstroke I would buy the best thing out there.

For me the choice was where the money was going, not the quality of the product, although it is evident the more expensive one is the higher quality as well

I have thought about doing that to. And they have a great set up for renix specifically to. The only reason I havnt done that is because I have heard it adds a lot of noise to the cabin, and mine is already really really loud as it is. I have 100 ft of submarine insulation in the shed that is going under the carpet and above the headliner. I already shoved it in the a pillars and doors. So much better already.. Sorry, just my 2 cents on noise...

looks like a good alternative without having a piece of PVC waving around in the wind
