Question Skid plate mounting bracket rubs against drive shaft

As indicated in the title - I just installed the full front skid plate from Rusty's (this one: http://goo.gl/O375Mf) and the mounting bracket that goes above the drive shaft rubs when I brake hard or go over a bump on the freeway. You can actually see on the driveshaft where it rubbed. Pictures here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?...00&usp=sharing).

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

How much and what kind of lift do you have? It really helps us to help you if the User CP is filled out.

Sorry about that - I will fill the user CP next.

I do not have a lift. The car is basically stock.

It's NOT a car. But we'll overlook it this one time since you are new. LOL.

I just checked their website and they don't mention minimum lift height or axle types but I'm almost positive that you need a bit of lift to clear the driveshaft. And a bit more if you have an LP30 upfront. (Or it might be more lift needed if you're running an HP axle.)

Edit: I think the lift height requirement is to clear the exhaust downpipe, not the axle.
