Finally got my new longer brake lines and did ball joints at the same time. The brackets that hold the ABS wires crumbled when removed. I had it zipped tied out of the way... so I thought. Went on first test drive and came back to find the tire rubbed through the wire on passenger side. Can I just splice this wire back together and have the ABS work again? If I have this it would at least be good if it worked. I have ZJ rear discs in the near future loosing my ABS, so maybe I will just cap it off? I know nothing about ABS except that it has been in the way several times so far.
