Of those who have a 99-01 cherokee and cut hood vents/louvers panels and took no extra action to cover/divert water from the vents and have NOT had a issue with them.

And how long you have had them.

Thanks

Late 99+ went to coil packs. That's the only thing I can think of that wqs a MAJOR change. The manifold was just an internl redesign to compensate for the emissions. Otherwise, the layout is pretty much identical other than a couple small things (washer reservoir location, etc). For me, i've ran mine for 2 years and have had zero issues. The reason: dielectric grease on every electrical connection under the hood.

2 posts, and you have all the answers, huh? You didn't contribute squat to the thread, other than some smart comment....so in essence, you didn't answer the question correctly either.

Can the attitude, or go away!

THANKS!

Whoa...the comment was meant to help, I even said thanks, because his intention was good, but he didn't clearly read the OP.

What's wrong? Am I in the wrong place for a civil discourse?

But seriously though....is that anyway to welcome me? I don't get it. I think you read WAY more into that post than was intended....but then of course it was moderated, so I guess it doesn't matter.

I am not a trouble maker, I merely wanted to help the OP so that is was clear what he was looking for.

As far as two posts....I have many more...under another username....but in the interest of pursuing a vendor request, which I have done per rules, I created this one.

Sorry for any misunderstanding, but I think that YOUR tone is not a good representation of all the other good things I have seen and done on this forum for years.
