Default shocks for 6.5in lift

What shock sizes do I need, 6.5in long arm. I have some bilstine 5150's but they're 14in travel with eyelets in both ends. What size do I need? Will the 14in travel work?

i have 12" travel 5150s with stop bar pins on the bottom and homemade adapter up top. they have about 5" of up travel. i know i couldnt run a 14" travel shock unless i lowered the axle mount.

you need to flex it out to see what your compressed and extended measurements are. not a good idea to guess. takes a few minutes so you can buy the CORRECT shocks for you xj

Sounds good to me! from what I've been reading I believe I'm.going to need a 12 for the front and 10 for the rear unless I use the eyelet style on the front with the adaptor then ill need 10 all around.

I find it hard to believe that it would be that diffrent from a 6.5in long arm on someone else's Cherokee should be pretty much standard.

theres a difference. some trim their fenders alot more then others. some use different bump stop heights. lots of variables in play.

but just guessing i would say 10" rears and 12" fronts. but thats a guess
