you can be more specific about your vehicle? transfer case, miles, setup now? year?
You can do a search there's a ton of information.
5" lift will need an SYE, short arms could work but more than likely will have awful angles...

i have a 2001 with a 231 and about 7 inches of lift......no sye.....no vibes, its different vehicle to vehicle, and yes i have plety of engagement even at full droop. to the o.p in the "all lift questions thread" there is alot of really good info.
