Default SHOCKS?

ok i need new shocks so i was planning on just getting tha RC N2.0's but know im look at either the Bilstein 5100 series for $79 each or the FOX Racing IFP 2.0 Performance Series for $109 each...whats yalls opinion on these or should i just save alot of money and go with the RC N2.0's

bilstein and fox are expensive for a reason, and that is because they flat-out out perform all the other cheaper ones on the market. i went bilstein and never have been happier.

your ride will improve but it also depends on what springs and suspension setup you have. im not sure how much into it you want to get but if you want to keep it simple then get a brand name shock as 89eliminator said.
my next shocks in the front will be bilsteins...

if your looking for ride quality, Bilstein will make your xj as close to a bmw as you can get. they dont have as much travel as others though. The fox's are great too though. really, I would go with the Bilsteins because you say you can get them for $30 cheaper and you really cannot go wrong with them.

I've been running Bilstein shocks for years. Simply put, they are an outstanding upgrade.

I looked around and rode in quite a few jeeps. The bilsteins are good but I like my Rancho 9000s adjustable shocks better. When I put them on 3 or 4, the ride is like a caddy and then I go 7-8 when I hit the dirt.
