Default Shackle relocation brackets

I am looking at getting shackle relocation brackets from Rough Country. I was just wondering if I should get these or get a new spring pack. I am currently running a zone 3" AAL with a 1" shackle.

I have the same AAL from RC. I paired them with IronMan4x4 shackle relocation bracket. They brought the rear back up to level with the front. Around 1.5 inch lift. Super beefy brackets. No worries about bending or breaking ever. They don't pair well with a stock shackle, but that won't be an issue for you.

The RCs don't have near the beef or mounting points as other on the market.

I have the hd offroad engineering's no lift shackle relocators. They also have a design that gives about 1.5" of lift. I'm very pleased with the ones I bought, although Installing was slightly annoying.

Me too. Was considering the HD Offroad but found these to be better finished and more compact. They come powder coated as well.

They also cost $33 more or around 22% more. I rather just paint them and save the $33. But i'm also cheap and would be buying no lift relocators for my application which are $63 or $30 cheaper then both lol

Well I'll be a bit different and say dump the old leafs and AAL and buy new leafs of the proper lift height for your app, I hate old worn out leafs using the AAL for a band aid.

I don't see powder coating as a plus, but a negative. You get a nick in the coating, starts to rust, pops the rest of the powder coating or just rots underneath it. If you live someplace where they don't salt, I guess, but no chance in the salt belt.

How is that any different than paint? Really the only difference is powder coat is much more resistant to chipping.

I'm running RC brackets....
I also know other people running them and have never seen a failure.

With that said I needed brackets I could install without using the nut strip or I would have went with HD off-roads setup. More beef than RC for sure at no extra cost.

I can easily spray bomb my parts. I don't need to scrap the coating off, just a nice coat. Spray paint doesn't come off in sheets either.
