Here on an island beach surrounded by salt-water, the air is corrosive and when the wind blows there is so much salt in the air it accumulates on the windows of our house and cannot see out.
Also causes the power lines and transformers to crackle, pop and emit blue sparks from salt build up. As a volunteer fire member, we sometimes have to go out and wash off the power poles and lines. Of course starting at the bottom of pole and wetting it all the way up so that electricity has a path to ground. And a nozzle that breaks up the water stream.
When there is a nick, the salt-air attacks it and 'travels' underneath the coating.
I could go on..

OP, there is a member selling HD Engineering relocation brackets in the for sale section. He bought the wrong ones, wanted the no-lift brackets.

That'd be me unfortunately, but they're already sold. BUT to the OP, do you want more lift or not? If not (like me), make sure you get the right ones. Installing the no-lift brackets wasn't the easiest thing in the world but I'm happy about the droop and shackle angle improvement.

Thanks for all the info guys. I am looking to just get the rear in line with the front. The rear is about .5" lower then the front. Reading about Zone offload lift, the front spring are 4.5" and the rear AAL and shackle come to about 4". Even if I get a new spring pack they recommend still just getting a 3". So I figured getting a relocation bracket will add the height I need to even out front and rear.
I think I am going with the ironman without powder coating.
